In brief

Control units and instruments are the part that decides: they read sensors, process signals and drive actuators and warning lamps. We design and build them for self-propelled machines working through vibration, dust and temperature swings.

The family also covers the components that prepare and protect onboard power: voltage conditioning, filters, DC motor drivers and solid-state relays.

Control and command units

A control unit gathers the signals from sensors and commands and decides what the machine does: switching a load, enabling an output, allowing or blocking a function. Elensys develops it around the manufacturer's needs, with the logic and interfaces the project requires.

3 applications

Data display units

They show the operator the information needed while working, such as states, alarms and values read from sensors. They are fitted in the cab, in a position that is easy to see while driving.

Illustrative image: power conditioning.

Power conditioning

A machine's onboard network is not a clean supply: there are engine starts, loads switching on and off, voltage variations. Power conditioning protects and adapts the supply of the downstream electronics so sensors and control units receive the voltage they need.

3 applications

Illustrative image: filtering circuits.

Filtering circuits

They reduce the electrical noise on the power line or on the signal to protect the most sensitive electronics. They are made to specification, also integrated into a harness or a junction box.

3 applications

Illustrative image: dc electric motor drivers.

DC electric motor drivers

They power and control DC electric motors, for example actuators and small movements on the machine. The driver receives the command from the operator or from a control unit and turns it into power at the motor.

3 applications

Illustrative image: solid-state power relays.

Solid-state power relays

They switch electrical loads controlled by a command signal, in a compact way suited to functions that repeat often. Timing belongs here too: the adjustable timer relay, with on-delay or off-delay, is described in the News section.

3 applications

Illustrative image: onboard instrumentation.

Onboard instrumentation

Compact dashboard instruments that tell the operator the state of parts of the machine with LEDs and acoustic alarms. They include the crane-arms closure indicator and the hydraulic oil level instrument.
